People Of Influence...
This has been on my mind for a while now and I think it should find its own little niche here, away from home so to speak. What makes or forms us? Mostly other people, whether we want to admit to it or not.My influences have been strange and some ways quite predictable, when you've ever met the outcome (grin).
Oma Oet and Opa Chris (Grandma and Gradpa):
My very first Influence and the most lasting one I'm willing to bet. People might think my values a little outdated and at the same time more modern.
Trust, Honesty and Equality.
Peter Cushing:
I was ten when I heard his calm, perfect, gentle voice. It instilled in me the desire to learn and study English two years before I had to and to love all things English.
Ian, Hubby, Most Beloved Of Them All:
Gentle and very knowledgable person. As all Hubbies go, can be a little pain in the eema but overall a very lovable and huggable person.
A calming anchor to a very energized EB, I need that. Cholok protects those who meet the angry EB. Ian keeps the little EB happy and therfor the rest of the world safe (grin).
Reads like a book but I can't get enough of reading it; he still comes up with surprise- chapters.
Good to become 120 with.
Bialar Crais:
Without the good Captain I would still be looking for a writing style to content with. He gave me the incentive to finally finish my book, hopefully in 2005.
Lani Tupu:
It was because of his magnetic charm, that I'm travelling all over the world and meeting interesting people and friends and enjoying myself tremendously.
Hubby: Calming anchor for the Energizerg Bunny in all her disgustingly cheerful EB-disguises (heehee), even then I was militant...
Fidel Castro
Last, a man I had a crush on when I was 5. It must have set my love for beards too. Crush was over when I was 6 (don't worry) Fidel, not beards (grin)
